This beautiful barn owl got trapped in glue to catch mice. Fortunately, someone noticed and rescued him, taking him to the Matildico Refuge, Wild Animal Recovery Center in the province of Reggio Emilia. To tell his story also a post published on the Facebook page, which warns:
“Mouse glue kills small animals, hedgehogs, birds, owls and more. In this case it is a Barn Owl who has fallen into the trap, it must be forbidden ”.
Thankfully, the barn owl has been cleaned up and will be released. But how many animals will not be as lucky as in this case?
