As reported by the local website, the Kazakh authorities have condemned the gesture urging everyone to respect nature. Saken Dildakhmet, spokesman for the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources, said: “The way people have acted in the video is outrageous and wild.
Such an attitude can cause serious damage to the fauna of the Caspian Sea and negatively affect the behavior of these animals which can become aggressive and attack people ".
The images speak for themselves. “Seals are playful, friendly and curious, we should admire them, not mistreat them,” says the spokesperson. Now he is investigating to identify the culprits.
