Yet it is the elderly, sick or mistreated dogs that have the greatest need for help. Fortunately, there are several initiatives to help them, thanks to the commitment of volunteers, among which we find Progetto Quasi.
Almost project helps disabled, abused, elderly and abandoned dogs. The volunteers of Progetto Quasi withdraw disabled or uncomfortable dogs, they stall them in a Foster Home and make sure they are treated if they need it, then they look for them a new home thanks to adoptions. Anyone who adopts one of these special dogs must then inform the association about its health conditions.

The project was born with the adoption of 'Quasi', a little dog that walked only on three legs due to the dislocation of a patella. He almost needed an operation and to find the necessary money the volunteers made available on the web in exchange for a donation, specially created t-shirts and pins. He almost underwent two operations and started walking well again. Given the success of the first initiative, the project continued to help other dogs in need.

I older dogsi, in particular, need our help, they are affectionate like puppies, they are very sweet and calm animate me. Anyone who has the chance and is thinking of a new four-legged friend should really consider adopting a less fortunate dog.
