That's why Australians are busy every day alongside firefighters, veterinarians and volunteers for steal the animals from the flames and groped to contain the already huge losses recorded.

You will surely remember Toni, the woman who threw herself into the Port Macquarie forest to save Lewis, a koala who later became a symbol of the hell that struck Australia.

Unfortunately poor Lewis didn't make it due to the severity of his injuries, but there are still plenty of koalas and other wildlife trapped in Australian forests and many citizens ready to take risks to save their lives.
