What are 15 lions doing all clinging to a tree? The shots of Australian photographer Bobby-Jo Clow, captured on a safari in central Serengeti, Tanzania, are traveling around the world. And nIt is not about photoshop.
The unusual sight of 15 lions climbing the same tree is more than real. But why have some of the most dangerous animals in the world all taken refuge so high? Who is the fearsome enemy he brought a whole herd of lions on the branches? It's not the fault of a maddened herd of wildebeest, but a swarm of annoying flies.
A local guide explained the reason for the mass climbing: due to the recent rains, the grass has grown a lot and the lions are forced to climb trees to escape the insects that thrive in greenery. They do not, therefore, to eat, as they do they learned how to make some goats in Morocco, which climb the branches of Argan trees to feed.
“We were close enough to hear their voice interactions and even hear some of them snoring in the tree. It was an incredible sight, but also very comical at times: the lions looked quite clumsy when moving ", explains the author of the wonderful shots.
