This curious story comes from Oregon (United States) and sees protagonists a group of cows cheered by the notes of a sax played at sunset. A surprise concert that was particularly appreciated by the animals!

Rick Herrmann, a 53-year-old dad from Lafayette, Oregon, was practicing alone with his saxophone at sunset. The man learned to play the sax only 7 months ago. Suddenly a herd of cows let themselves be enchanted by the notes of the musical instrument and approached to enjoy the show.

Rick joked that this was his first live performance. And it was a great success, considering how satisfied the unusual audience was with the concert!

The cows, in particular, enjoyed the performances of Stevie Wonder's “Isn't She Lovely”, George Michael's “Careless Whisper” and The Champs' “Tequila”. Slowly, while the man played, they arranged themselves very neatly around the enclosure.

Who knows that man has not somehow managed to reproduce with the sax the sounds of Kulning, the ancient and magical song to communicate with cows. This is traditionally a sound produced with the voice, a very ancient form of music used in Scandinavian countries to call livestock.

Rick's performance went viral, thanks to daughter Erin, who shared the video on Twitter.

Herrmann said he started playing the sax "just to make people happy". He certainly wasn't expecting a positive response so soon, especially from animals. His story also ended up on TV.

Guess who I’m hanging out with! ? ? This musical man is playing his sax ‘til the cows come home. They clearly think he’s utterly legenDAIRY. We met up with Rick after his saxaphone serenade video went viral. Story tonight at 10 ? @erinmherrmann #Fox12 #CowWhisperer pic.twitter.com/NwocPROsb8

However, the goal is reached and doubled: to make men and animals smile!
