    Authorities and citizens have tried to bring back 163 of the dolphin specimens stranded and still alive into the sea, but the animals have not made it


    Quasi 200 dolphins of the species Peponocephala electra they ran aground last Tuesday on the beach of Altar and Ponta de Antónia on the island of Cape Verde Boa Vista. Thanks to the collaboration of citizens and authorities, 163 animals are still alive have been brought back to sea, but the effort to save the animals was in vain: most of the dolphins beached again.




    The lifeless bodies were found again on the beach and it is assumed that only 27 specimens have survived.
