Research analyzed 27.600 species among birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals, obviously a representative sample of half of the species and the loss of population on 177 mammals between 1900 and 2015.
The data collected shows that beyond the 30% of the species of vertebrates is shrinking in number of individuals and geographic expansion. Mammals, in particular, have lost at least 30% of their geographical extent, while more than 40% of the species experienced a severe population decline.
