The story was told by the Polish website Wiadomòsci which explains that the bovine was destined for slaughter, but its determination got the better of a tragic end. According to the pet owner's account, things went more or less like this.
The cow had been prepared to be transported from the Polish farm to slaughterhouse, but when she noticed the dynamics she broke the metal fence, fractured a rib to the man who worked on the farm and after having gored the door of the truck she fled chased by numerous people.
After running for a while, the cow, in order not to be reached, even dived into the water, reaching a desert island not far from the city. The story has obviously gone around the world and has also attracted the attention of Pawel Kukiz, now a deputy but former singer who launched the campaign to save the brave cow from slaughter.

Kukiz himself offered to pay the ransom to the owner who wanted her to be slaughtered, in order to ensure her a dignified life. The parliamentarian is not a vegetarian but was struck by the determination of this cow and her desire to be free and above all alive. A beautiful story of animal resilience.

We hoped until the end that the story of this rebellious cow with a great desire to live would have a happy ending, above all because so many had mobilized for her salvation. But unfortunately it comes from Poland tragic news: the cattle died during transport to the farm. For a few days she had managed to escape capture, but eventually surrounded, the cow was blocked. But she never got out of that truck, once again she decided when and where to die.
We would have liked this story to have a happy ending like in the most beautiful fairy tales. But this is not a fairy tale. In reality it is not allowed to live free but, above all, those who rebel against a system of exploitation must never go unpunished. Yet she resisted to the end and opposed the only means that she still could use against those who wanted to make her return a prisoner: her life. She died on the way to the farm after her capture: no one could decide when and how to deprive her of her life.
