He was taking a walk when he came across a very rare specimen of white reindeer. A lucky photographer immortalized her in Norway.
Mads Nordsveen, 24, from Oslo, spotted the puppy with its pure white coat almost blending into the snowy landscape during a walk in northern Norway.
The photos, published on Instagram, immediately went around the world, as well as the video posted by Mads, who spoke of the encounter with the reindeer as a fairytale experience, a magical moment.
The young man told Caters news agency that he spotted the "wonderful little creature" while walking in the mountains.
Sharing the images on social media, he said: "She almost disappeared in the snow!"

The white reindeer, at the sight of Nordsveen and his friends, seemed almost to have taken a pose.
“She came very close to me and we looked into each other's eyes, she was very calm when she saw that I had no bad intentions,” said the photographer.
These animals are very rare. The last sighting was in 2016, in Mala, in the north of Sweden. Their unusual appearance is due to a genetic condition that strips the pigment from their fur.
The animal left the boy and his friends after a few minutes, when it returned to its mother at the edge of the forest.
According to some Scandinavian traditions, spotting a white reindeer is considered a sign of good luck.
Mads was doubly lucky!
