During a walk in the Dolomites, a young boy meets a beautiful brown bear, which has emerged from behind a bush. And he shows us exactly what to do
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himMeet a bear and know exactly what to do. Little Alessandro, 12, a sixth-grade student in the small town of Sporminore proves it to us. During a walk at high altitude, in the heart of the Dolomites, with his family, this little boy met a beautiful specimen of brown bear, which emerged from behind a bush.
A meeting of those that happen only once in a lifetime and only for a lucky few. But Alessandro had a cool head and clarity. Small steps and no sudden movements. He never lost his temper and walked away without frightening the animal
Alessandro's courage and preparation dismantle the commonplaces one by one about the giant of the woods, which often ends up in the crosshairs of those who want to see him dead rather than risk finding him in front of him.
The bear naturally fears man and keeps his distance. To date, no cases of assault on humans are known. A bear that stands up on its hind legs, as seen in the video, does not want to threaten but is simply assessing the situation.
Experts confirm that Alessandro was flawless:
“If you suddenly run into a bear at close range, keep calm and don't scream, but speak to be recognized. If the bear remains stationary, calmly walk away, backing away or moving sideways. Should the bear follow you, stop and hold your position. Do not throw stones or sticks at the animal, do not run away and do not climb a tree. It is very unlikely that the bear will attack you, but if it does, remain motionless: it is very likely that the bear will stop near you without any physical contact. If the attack comes into contact, lie face down on the ground, covering your neck with your hands. Get up only when the bear is no longer around, ”explains WWF.
At the end of the video, the brown bear moves away towards the valley floor, demonstrating how, if left alone, he thinks about his own business (and not about attacking the man).
