Tater, who was lost in the storm, he was still alive. He had managed to get back to the place where he had separated from his owners and was waiting. When the alarm went off last Sunday, in fact, the whole family left the house to try to reach the shelter in a nearby school, but they never arrived.
The father, the mother, their little 2-week-old baby and their dog Tater got into a car, but unfortunately they ended up directly in the path of the tornado. The car started to turn on itself. The fury of the wind overturned and destroyed it. The family was miraculously unharmed, but Tater was gone, he was nowhere to be found.
When Andy, three days later, managed to return to the place where their SUV had been overturned, he was greeted with a nice surprise: his missing dog was there, alive and well. Tater immediately ran into his arms. “He's a good dog… He's a part of the family. I don't really know what else to say, I'm just happy to have my dog again, ”said the excited man.
A story with a happy ending that for a moment made us forget the destruction and death caused by a series of tornadoes and storms in the southern United States in the past few days.
