Shared and linked on social networks around the world the image taken by fotografo Micheal Higgins while a squirrel is intent on examining an enclosure of a bar sneak in theAlgonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, it is literally going viral.
Yet, apart from the initial hilarity that a "weight-conscious" squirrel can provoke, it is very sad to see these little animals at the taken with human garbage, mostly in a natural park.
The squirrel in question is part of the Marmotini tribe and represent the smallest mammals of the so-called Tamia or Canadian squirrel family. They feed mainly on berries and nuts and live in North America.
