Sloth love, a book with wonderful photos depicting sloths, adorable animals, very lonely and slow and lazy to say the least. But they are in danger of extinction and in need of protection

From Costa Rica there are some wonderful photos depicting sloths, truly adorable animals, very solitary and to say the least slow and lazy, since they sleep about 19 hours a day, a feature that makes them even more likeable. But they need protection.

This is why the Sloth Institute is working on them and recently published Sloth Love a book, which collects the most beautiful photo of sloths, edited by Sam Trull, director of the institute.

His life changed when he decided to leave the comforts of the United States to live in Costa Rica in direct contact with nature, take care of photography and conservation of animals, with particular reference to sloths.

In his book we find dozens of photographs that show everything his love for sloths which are portrayed from a very tender perspective. Sloths are seen and photographed by those who protect them and are their mothers when she serves them.

The images lead us into a journey to discover the rainforests and the nature that characterize the landscape of Costa Rica. Sloths are animals at risk of extinction due to the progressive disappearance of their natural habitats due to deforestation, climate change and human activities. In fact, the need to preserve the slowest mammal species on the planet, at risk of extinction, is growing.
