Some kittens and puppies locked up inside a dispenser. They were given away as prizes inside a Chinese shopping mall
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himSome kittens and other puppies were released after being discovered locked inside a dispenser, where they were given away as prizes. The game machine, in which the animals were forced into tight spaces and subjected to great stress, was located in a shopping center in Shanghai.
The complaint came from a Chinese supermodel named Ju Xiaowen, who shared the video of the car "giving" kittens to her approximately three million followers on Weibo.
It showed the game machine with cages, one of which held three kittens and another with puppies. After winning an on-screen game, players could get them as a gift as a reward.
This was enough to unleash a sea of international criticism, so much so that the rewards company had to quickly remove it from the mall, complete with an apology.
Fortunately, the animals were released and are now being followed by veterinarians to check their health.
Everyone now hopes it will never happen again (but we have our doubts about it ... as long as the puppies are considered as toys, it will happen again, sadly).
