He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Animals held in indecent conditions, with showy tumor masses, purulent wounds e untreated sores, rectal and vaginal prolapses left to rot. They have no room to move inside the aseptic boxes where they are locked up to gain weight or to give birth. When they are reluctant to move, they are insulted, kicked, beaten, beaten with iron bars or scraped with a knife on the back. Many of them report the obvious signs of tremendous and gratuitous violence, with abrasions on the face and all over the body. It is about the pigs of the British pig industry immortalized, together with the poor living conditions and the unspeakable mistreatment they must suffer, in addition 200 hours of hard video and audio material and 300 photos of thelatest investigation at Animal Equality.

We are located in Norfolk, United Kingdom, in the breeding of Harling, owned by A.J. Edwards & Son. A medium-sized farm, with over 3.000 pigs and 370 sows, 160 sent to the slaughterhouse every week, including sows that are no longer able to farrow. Here the animals are raised outdoors and fattened indoors. Yet this horror lager is even certified as 'high quality' with the brand 'Red Tractor’. For this reason, explains the animal rights association, the images reveal that pain, suffering and exploitation are always present within intensive farms, regardless of how long a breeding is certified. Because Harling is no different from other kennels. It is not an exception, indeed. It represents the typical standard of how pigs spend their lives within these places.

The disarming reality within the pig industry is, in fact, that represented by this investigation, conducted by a infiltrator who worked on the farm for 72 days, witnessing absurd scenes made of violence and pain. Here is how he describes one of the many incidents of cruelty on the part of the torturers of the poor pigs in his diary: “Geoff took a handle of the entrance door, like other times, and smashed it on the head of one of the pigs. It took several blows to crack his skull and cause him to spasm. He then yelled at me to help him throw the animal into the body bin. It took me a few seconds to react, because I couldn't get used to all this. Blood splashed out of the animal's head, along with pieces of the brain. I grabbed one of the legs and blood flooded the boots, the floor and the body bin. Placing the pig in the bin, Geoff closed it and walked away. I could still hear him kick and scream desperately. Once again I felt frustrated and unable to do anything “.

A shocking testimony how much the images photographed and filmed, which requires us to always remember that animals are sentient beings capable of experiencing emotions and sensations such as pain, pleasure, stress and exactly as each of us have their needs and the will to live. But the consumption of products of animal origin forces them to a life of suffering and a senseless death in farms, laboratories and slaughterhouses.
