The Carabinieri of Reggio Calabria found 230 dormice frozen in packages and ready to be sold in a private house
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himIn Delianuova (Reggio Calabria), as part of some checks, the Carabinieri found over 200 dormice in the freezer of a private home. They were packaged in ready-to-sell packages.
It all started with the discovery of a marijuana cultivation of about 730 plants in a municipality of Delianuova. Following further checks, carried out in the homes and properties of the 3 people involved, several specimens of dormouse (protected species).
Some were in cages, therefore you live, but many others about 230 were frozen and packed in over 50 packages, presumably ready to be sold or consumed.

Those responsible were therefore arrested not only for the production of drugs but also for the capture or killing of animals of protected species.
For those wondering why and for what purpose to sell frozen dormice, we must remember that unfortunately dormouse meat is considered a delicacy.
