Noah's Ark exists! The Fuerteventura farm where these vets treat abandoned animals on the island

Noah's Ark exists and is located in Fuerteventura to offer a new life to pets, but above all farm animals, abused and abandoned.

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Noah's Ark exists and is located in Fuerteventura. Three special people created it, Olga Amann, veterinarian, Julio Cruz, veterinary assistant, and Bethlehem Rock, specialist in rescue, structure design and animal behavior.

Their ark, which is actually one farm 10.000 square meters, has a name, "The Animal Academy“, Where they welcome farm animals, but also some domestic specimens, abused or abandoned. And they already have about eighty of them including sheep, goats, pigs, cats, donkeys, chickens.

The 3 friends revealed, in an interview with Macaronesia Fuerteventura, that the idea was born when they saw a bag being thrown from a car window and stopping to pick it up, they discovered that there was an injured kitten inside. , full of fleas and with a broken jaw from the impact.

It wasn't long before they found a little black donkey named Willi that didn't meet its owners' standards, which is why they had decided to put it down. They saved him that he was only 8 months old. Since then, more and more rescues followed until they decided to open the solidarity farm.

The project was initially financed only by the 3 boys, then, after creating the association, they began to get help from sponsors, donations, members and crowdfunding campaigns for concrete actions.

Their goal is not only to offer animals a second chance, especially farm animals, but to raise public awareness on the subject, proposing both collective actions and speeches and seminars in schools.

Congratulations to these 3 willing and sensitive young people, we hope that their project will grow and help people to change their mentality regarding farm animals.
