It got better at Venice. The exception is the fireworks display that will illuminate the San Marco Basin at midnight. Even Bologna and Turin have banned fireworks and containers and bottles will not be left on the street.
Cortina d'Ampezzo yes, it has banned the barrels but with other reasons, so as not to disturb the peace of the famous faces guests in the city. Outside the barrels from the historic center of Vicenza for New Year's Eve while in Bari the ban also applies to the days preceding New Year's Eve.
