New slaughter in the Faroe Islands, another 100 pilot whales killed, fetuses torn from the belly of pregnant females

The slaughter of pilot whales does not stop in the Faroe Islands. During the 100th Grindadráp, the crazy cetacean hunt in the Danish archipelago located in the North Atlantic, about XNUMX pilot whales or so-called pilot whales have already been killed. Many pregnant females whose fetuses were ripped from their wombs just for the sake of killing.

The slaughter of pilot whales does not stop in the Faroe Islands. During the 100th Grindadráp, the crazy cetacean hunt in the Danish archipelago located in the North Atlantic, about XNUMX pilot whales or so-called 'pilot whales' have already been killed. Many pregnant females whose fetuses were ripped from their wombs just for the sake of killing.

Every year in this period we document the slaughter of cetaceans where the angry crowd with knives in hand and just for unhealthy fun, kills innocent animals, not sparing even children and even fetuses.
The images and video released by Sea Shepherd Conservation Society which for years has been fighting against the massacre of cetaceans, are really terrible and those concerning the killed fetuses we have decided not to publish them, whoever wants to view them will find them here.

And this time too the pilot whales died under the blows of knives and hooks after being frightened offshore and made to arrive disoriented on the shore. The Atlantic archipelago turns red.

In Vestmanna Bay, a herd was spotted off the coast of Skopunarfjordur and the boats immediately set off in pursuit, which lasted five hours. After encircling the animals, they terrified them and pushed them to shore. A merciless spectacle that everyone witnesses, even children.

A massacre that sees the severing of the spinal cord, with knives stuck behind the head; a long and painful death with agony lasting several minutes. The massacre, as the organization writes, lasted 12 minutes in all and saw the death of 94 pilot whales including 4 cubs and at least 5 pregnant cetaceans.

Approx 100 pilot whales were driven from their ocean home by boats, forced on to a beach and then cruelly slaughtered in the Faroe Islands today. (11th grindadráp of 2019 killing a total of +- 600 cetaceans).

The petition

“More than 100.000 dolphins and small whales are hunted and killed every year. Most of the hunts are not regulated, they are illegal and unsustainable with unknown impacts on the populations ”, reads the text of the petition.

The Blue Planet Society has launched a petition calling for a halt to whale hunting around the world.
