A few months ago Narnia has become the mother of two adorable and equally beautiful kittens, whose fur matches the colors of her face: one is completely black, the other gray.

Narnia, born in 2017 in France, has become a real web star due to its particularity. What is striking about this wonderful specimen of breed British Shorthair and the double color, perfectly symmetrical, which characterizes the hair on his face, while the rest of the body is black with some white spots.

It was initially believed that Narnia was a “Gatto chimera”. Il chimerism it takes its name from the Greek myth and refers to a fabulous monster characterized by body parts of different animals. But, more recently it has been discovered that Narnia would not be a chimera cat, but an even more rare and fascinating specimen. The 34-year-old owner of Narnia, a professional cat breeder, explained:

“A geneticist ran tests and found that Narnia has only one DNA… it remains a mystery to science. He also has beautiful blue eyes which is very rare in an all black cat. Blue eyes are usually more common in white cats. "

The birth of the Narnia puppies also turned out to be a real surprise, as they inherited her amazing genes. While the small Phoenix has completely gray hair, Prada is all black. And they are two wonders, just like mom!
