Monkeys in India slaughter stray dogs after killing one of their puppies

After the killing of one of their pups, the monkeys of a village in India reacted by killing dozens of dogs

In the last few hours, the news of a massacre of stray dogs carried out by two monkeys in the village of Lavool, in India. According to the reconstructions of the inhabitants and local sources, it all started with the killing of a primate baby by a pack of dogs. Since that time the monkeys have decided to act according to the harsh rules of the animal kingdom.

The exact number of dead dogs in Lavool is still unclear (although most Indian newspapers mention 250 dead animals) but what is known is that they were killed in a very cruel way by monkeys. After capturing them, the primates would take the dogs to trees or tall buildings and then throw them to the ground.

The news itself is true, but numerous newspapers in our country and not only have used unverified data and misleading titles, speaking of "revenge", just as if it were a story that concerns human beings.

But, apparently, it was their way of reacting (and probably making the species "survive"?) To the killing of a baby monkey by a pack of dogs. The villagers tried several times to stop them but the monkeys started attacking them too and at that point the aggression of the primates resulted in the attack on an 8-year-old boy.

The Indian Forest Service of the Ministry of the Environment then intervened by making the capture of most of the monkeys present in the area which will then be released into the forest.
