Animal Equality had the branding numbers checked by al Dorset Trading Standars and experts confirmed that the calves are over eight weeks old.
Asked by AE, the Marks & Spencer chain was surprised to see the treatment of the calves, but to date it has not yet stopped supplying.

“It was truly heartbreaking to see these calves in these cramped enclosures. Their place would be next to the mothers. We immediately demand that resellers terminate ties with this supplier. One of our team is already at work to take all the necessary measures to ensure that animal welfare standards are respected, ”he says Toni Shephard Animal Equality director.
