Un young hunter shot a 4 month old Border Collie puppy, killing him for barking too much.

It happened in Saint-Agrève, France: the hunter was walking down the street when he heard the puppy bark in the courtyard of a house.

According to the 22-year-old, the Border collie was too loud and it would disturb the hunt which would open a few days later. So he went home, took up not one but two guns and went back to the puppy's house with the intention of silencing him forever.

The owner of the animal, a retired 66-year-old farmer, was arranging wood when he heard a first shot followed by the screams of pain from his poor puppy and finally silence after a second shot.

Corso on the spot saw the killer flee by car and promptly followed him with his tractor. The pensioner managed to stop the perpetrator of the insane gesture and called the police: the military has therefore the young man arrested on charges of cruelty to a pet.

The hunter will be tried next February but his firearms license has not been withdrawn and he will be able to participate in the hunting season that officially opened yesterday.
