DNA tests have confirmed that the puppy found in a garden in Australia is an endangered species dingo

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

An Australian woman found a puppy in her garden in Wandiligong. Jane heard yelps coming from outside the house, and once she discovered the little animal, she couldn't tell if it was an abandoned or lost dog, or a fox.

The puppy had indeed a strange appearance, so the woman decided to take him to the vet.
At the clinic, Dr. Rebekah Day found wounds on the animal's back and speculated that the puppy was a specimen of a dingo that has fallen from the claws of a bird of prey, landing in the lady's garden.

Doctor Day then got in touch with the Australian Dingo Foundation and, to identify exactly the species the puppy belongs to, it was decided to proceed with the DNA esame.
