Two adult dogs and three puppies were found walled up alive by the owner in a farmhouse in the province of Verona, left there to die for 15 days

A whole family of dogs has been found walled up alive in a cottage ruined in Lugo di Grezzana, in the province of Verona.
A passer-by who overheard the alarm dogs barking and crying inside the cottage. The man informed an acquaintance who fortunately contacted Lav Verona.
The volunteers intervened immediately and, when they arrived on the spot, the situation they faced was nothing short of chilling: a dog mom with her three puppies were walled up alive by the owner of animals, obviously without water or food, left there to die of starvation for fifteen days.
Outside the cottage, a Terrified Maremma, probably the father of the puppies, had been locked up in a pen for the same fate.
If Lav hadn't intervened, the dogs would surely die in the worst way: of thirst, hunger and cold, after who knows how many days of agony.
Lav volunteers told how it was heartbreaking to see the little dogs crouched on their mother's body, which then resulted in very serious conditions.
“The dogs were taken to the health kennel and placed in the care of veterinarians. Very serious, the mother was immediately subjected to powerful rehydration ”Lav Verona explained on the Facebook page.
“We hope that the poor mother will survive, also to be able to meet good people in her life who will make her forget the unspeakable sufferings she has endured. The continuous commitment due to the mistreatment of animals leads us to witness acts of violence that leave us upset and embittered. Precisely for this reason, counting on our strength, on the concrete support of citizens and on the support of the forces of law and order, we go forward, without ifs and buts, convinced, as we are, that respect for animals is a great battle of civilization "have added the spokespersons of the association.
It is really difficult to understand what a man can lead to accomplish a such a cruel gesture towards innocent animals and capable of feeling pain and suffering, moreover without ever having the slightest afterthought for fifteen long days.
Lav has made it known that he will do everything possible because the responsible respond at a judicial level of his ignoble gesture.

The mother of the puppies didn't do it, after trying to treat her with a drip and after keeping her warm, we had to give up on the idea of not being able to do anything more for the poor animal.
