A deer was found dead in Thailand and had around 7 kg of plastic in its stomach, one of the causes of its death.
Not just whales or turtles, even wild animals living in the woods are starting to die from plastics. A deer with as many as 7 pounds of plastic in the stomach was found dead in Thailand's Khun Sathan National Park in Nan Province.
The deer was 10 years old, had no external wounds or cuts, and would have died two days before the discovery. An autopsy was found to have garbage bags, instant coffee packs, condiment packs, rubber gloves, towels and even men's underwear in his stomach, as can be seen from the photos posted on DNP's official Facebook page.

The deer was killed by gastrointestinal obstruction coupled with old age and the presence of plastic bags, and according to the director of the protected region in Khun Sathan National Park, Kriangsak Thanompun, his death shows that the problem of plastic can no longer be underestimated. And that single-use plastics must necessarily be reduced in favor of environmentally friendly products.
Also because this deer is certainly not the only victim, there are many every day around the world. Furthermore, according to a 2015 report by the Ocean Conservancy and the McKinsey Center for Business and Environment, 50% of the plastic in the oceans comes from Thailand, China, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. At this rate, more and more animals will die from human indifference.
