He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himA truly incredible episode, yet another that sees unprecedented violence against an innocent animal. We are in Trecate, where in the bio-park in the province of Novara a man not only caught a turtle from the pond but also tried to cook it.
A story so absurd it seems impossible. Yet, the Local Police really stopped a man, who had entered the pond of the Reggio Moretta park, taken the animal of about 20 cm. dug a hole and lit a fire. His intent was precisely to cook the animal still alive.
Fortunately, local police officers intervened by stopping him and identifying him. And the turtle narrowly escaped.
His attacker, as local newspapers explain, was reported for animal abuse, while the animal returned to his pond safe and sound.
