The kangaroo that, in Savona, was seen hopping around the city this morning had finally managed to regain some freedom. It was an animal that escaped from a circus stationary in the area which, after escaping, was brought back to the base.

This morning in Savona some passers-by found themselves in front of a show as usual. Around 8 o'clock in Piazza del Popolo, one of the main places of the Ligurian city, a kangaroo was spotted scuttling here and there, apparently looking for food and visibly disoriented.

Many stopped to browse and shoot videos. Fortunately, the animal was not injured in any way, despite also hopping in the middle of the road with the cars passing by.

But what was a kangaroo doing in the center of Savona? It became known later that the specimen he had escaped from the Millenium Circus, stopped in town since the lockdown.

It seems that the animal after its escape was recovered and taken back to the circus from which it had escaped. Freedom, unfortunately, did not last long!

Many people gave a smile in front of the unusual encounter but many others, instead, took the opportunity to remember that this animal, which comes from far away places, it would have the right to jump freely in its natural habitat and not be a prisoner of a circus.
