La bee die-off it extended until Canada. The Toronto the progressive disappearance of pollinating insects is arousing the concern of citizens, who are looking for suitable solutions to facilitate the survival and stay of bees even in habitats that are not always perfect for them. Pop Tarts Works, a group of Toronto-based designers, gave birth to the new project for save the bees. It is a real refuge for bees that reach the city and which will help them find suitable shelter to survive and reproduce. The "hotel" for bees was designed to create a space where insects could be at ease without any problems.

Beehive Hotel can accommodate a bee colony capable of pollinate up to 2000 flowers per day. It was built using only 100% recycled cardboard. The cardboard was cut with the laser and assembled to obtain a refuge with a shape as close as possible to that of a real beehive.

Bees love to take refuge and nest in small cavities. If they are in the city, they choose spaces between bricks or cracks between walls, but also pipes and other sheltered places made of wood or cardboard. So then Beehive Hotel looks like perfect to welcome them.
