I seven unfortunates they are the lioness Maria, 7, her children Geeta, 4, and Zita, 2; the bears Masha, 4, and Grisha, 9; and two guinea pigs: they all lived for months in "terrible conditions", as reported on his website by I.International Animal Rescue (IAR), organization that deals with the protection of animals.

Where the evil Armenian oligarch ended up is not known, what is known is that so far an elderly couple, among other poor people, Hovhamnes and Alvina Madoyan are taking care of these animals, who, taken by compassion, bring them food.
“I lost my job and I have nothing left - says Hovhamnes - My wife and I were walking in the deserted zoo when we heard terrible roars. We found the lioness and her cub literally drooling from the lack of water. My wife and I cannot bear to see God's creatures suffering. We went to get water and got some meat from a local butcher ”.
Meanwhile, last Friday a team led by the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) transported the bears to a temporary enclosure at the Yerevan Zoo, where they will await permits before being placed in Romania's Libearty Bear Sanctuary.
International Animal Rescue is striving for raise public awareness of the plight of these animals, waiting for the Armenian authorities to take action.
“The fate of these animals - concludes a spokesperson - should not depend on the philanthropy of an elderly couple who barely have enough for themselves. It is essential that they are moved to a place where they can be treated ”.
