To do at pieces the animals for fun it seems the new hobby of zoo area of Denmark. Here, after the Marius giraffe made in front of Danish media cameras, a 9-year-old lioness was also killed. UPDATE OF OCTOBER 16, 2015

Despite the protests and the petition, the zoo decided to open the corpse of the lion to show it to the children. It happened yesterday and it wasn't a good show at all.

The "educational" purposes that would have prompted the zoo to tear the lion to pieces to show its entrails to those present was not appreciated at all.

The little ones who witnessed the macabre show had faces that let all their bewilderment shine through, as did the grown-ups who accompanied them.

The following video briefly shows what happened yesterday at the zoo. Beware, the images are creepy.

The animal was killed nine months ago. The motivation? The zoo is home to too many lions. The poor creature's corpse has since been kept in a freezer at the Odense Zoo awaiting the fateful day it would be dissected "for educational purposes", to coincide with Denmark's autumn school holidays, in front of a crowd. of children and adults.

Despite the criticism that rained down after the killing of the giraffe Marius, in February 2014, Danish zoos try again. At that time, the giraffe was not only killed because it was the result of an endogamous relationship, that is, between relatives, but also fed to the lions in front of everyone, including children. Four other lions were killed later. But why kill the lioness?

“The reason we want to analyze it is that we believe that a lot of training can be achieved with sectioning of lion, " said Michael Wallberg Sorensen, keeper of the Odense Zoo. “Even if we are in contact with many other zoos and try to transfer the animals to them, we can have surpluses,” he adds, explaining that this is why the lion was killed nine months ago.

The zoo would have already run dissections public of lions in the past. And according to the managers, the visitors would even be "Really interested".

It is difficult to believe these words after having attended the numerous critical rained against the zoo on the occasion of the macabre fate of the giraffe Marius. The zoo's scientific director also allegedly received death threats.

One has already left petition, a letter sent to the Danish government to try to save the lioness from destruction.
