After 20 years of captivity this bear still continues to move on itself in an imaginary cage

After living 20 years in a zoo, a she-bear named Ina keeps spinning in circles as if trapped in an imaginary cage, despite the fact that she is now free. She never got over the trauma of captivity

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Certain traumas, such as that of an existence spent in captivity, are difficult to overcome and forget. This is true for many animals, including a female brown bear named Ina. Although she is now free, she is as if she had been trapped inside an imaginary cage from which she can not get out, as revealed by the sad images spread in recent days on social networks.

In the video, the bear is seen circling in circles in an area of just a few meters, although in reality it could move freely for several kilometers. The video has been broadcast on Twitter since Libearty Sanctuary, the sanctuary located in Zarnesti, Romania, and home to hundreds of brown bears rescued from zoos and circuses.

For 20 years, Ina was forced to live - or rather to survive - locked up in the Romanian zoo of Piatra Neamț zoo. In that sad structure, the bear shared a small enclosure with his sister Anca. For the animal, salvation came thanks to Ong Millions of Friends, which after years of mobilization finally managed to free Ina and take her to the Libearty Sanctuary, also thanks to the intervention of the National Environmental Guard (GNA).

"This is the image of a trauma that sometimes does not heal and is never forgotten": with these words the representatives of the Millions of Friends association commented on the distressing scene of Ina who goes around in circles in a confined space. And when we buy a ticket for the circus or a zoo, where animals are exploited and traumatized, we should remember scenes like that of the bear Ina.
