Police, gendarmes and soldiers were mobilized, but initially only a helicopter equipped with a thermal camera continued the search for safety reasons. The prefecture has urged residents to be cautious and ea move, as far as possible, only by car.
There are two questions that still remain unanswered: where is it and where does it come from? No one has yet managed to capture it, just as no one has reported the disappearance of a tiger. The tiger escape would not be linked to the amusement park. Nor at the Parc des Félins in Nesles, about thirty kilometers away. Escape from a circus was also ruled out.
The animal would weigh around 70 kilos. It belongs to a protected species and should preferably be captured alive. The order, in fact, is to sedate her. If she turns out to be dangerous or aggressive, the order is to kill her. But why does a tiger have to survive in France?
