Her owner decided to bring her to the clinic, after 3 puppies were already born at home.
"After four hours of inactivity and the death of a puppy, its owner brought it to us, fearing the worst."
said veterinarian Patrycja Zimmermann.
“We immediately took x-rays to see if there were any more puppies on the way, and found well over 10 puppies remained. After quickly checking the heartbeats of the little ones, we prayed that everything would be all right for Shadow. "

During the next 45 minutes, thanks to the caesarean section, the other 18 tender puppies came out.
After this incredible effort, mum Shadow is now enjoying some well-deserved rest at home and of course her large (and beautiful) litter.
