This is the umpteenth innocent victim of a very serious act of poaching. It all started when the Forestry Carabinieri delivered a griffon vulture in obvious difficulty recovered in Torre Pellice to the CANC wildlife technicians.

The bird appeared exhausted and was in serious condition. The radiographs showed the presence in the left wing of some pellets of the type used with hunting rifles. It is hypothesized that the animal, once hit and fell to the ground, was no longer able to resume flight and feed.
For this he is in a serious state of wasting, malnutrition and dehydration. Now doing everything possible to save him.
