This family from Dunedin, southeastern New Zealand, had just finished exploring part of the Kepler Track when a kea, a native species of the country, grabbed their GoPro and flew off over the woods. The video is beautiful and has been around the world.

The Verheuls had turned on the device to film a group of curious birds, who had joined them outside the hut they were staying in, but a cheeky kea literally grabbed it and took off in an instant.

Surprisingly, the GoPro survived the "ordeal", but it certainly gave us some amazing images. But there is one thing to point out: at the end of the video the parrot tears a piece of plastic off the camera. Our hope is that you have not ingested it!
