Zoe, aged 6, gives her long hair to little cancer patients

Zoe at the age of 6 made an important gesture of solidarity towards the less fortunate children, she donated her long hair to the little cancer patients

Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

Zoe is only 6 years old but already proves she has a very big heart. In fact, he decided to donate her hair to other children less fortunate than her: the little ones with cancer.

The little girl, who lives in Asti, had very long hair so that she was able to give a 40 centimeter braid. Hair that she can do without at the moment, as she will grow back soon, but which can be very valuable to children struggling with cancer treatment.

The little girl has, on her own initiative, given her cut and braided hair to a hairdresser in the area who will send them to "A room for a smile", an association in Altamura that supports cancer patients.

As Zoe's mom told La Nuova Provincia:

“It all started this summer, when we read together a children's book 'La Treccia' which tells the sad story of a village in India where all the girls wore very long hair. She and her mother at a certain point run away and run into a thousand difficulties so the hair becomes a vow to God if they are saved ".

After seeing the advertisement of an association that collected hair for the sick and listening to the explanations of the mother who told her that, unfortunately, many children are left without hair due to serious illnesses, little Zoe made her choice , deciding to donate her hair that she hadn't cut since the age of 2.

She had to wait a while for the length to be at least 30cm but she managed to do more by donating a 40cm braid.

Last Thursday she went with her mother to the “Stella Maris and Valentina” salon in Asti, where the hairdresser made the cut, leaving the little girl with her hair in a bob. Zoe finally said she was happy with her choice. "I'm happy with what I did," she said.

She is not the first generous child who stands out for a nice gesture of solidarity like this. Also in Asti there is Anita, 9, who a few weeks had made the same drastic cut by choosing to give her long hair to cancer children (never cut since she was born).

The hair of both small girls will then be transformed by companies that make wigs and extensions for children who are undergoing chemotherapy cycles.

So small and already so big. Real examples to follow!
