Dana started practicing Yoga after years of struggling with her image and with her body, after periods of heavy weight gain and binges, accompanied by anxiety and depression and crazy attempts to find some peace, such as said on its website.
Losing weight was not enough for her to feel happy, despite the great effort in the gym to improve her image. She still had to struggle a lot to learn to accept herself and the situation began to improve only thanks to the encounter with Yoga.
Today Dana is a beloved and respected Yoga teacher. For much of his life, she went to great lengths to lose weight, not because he really wanted it, but because she felt too strongly and decisively the pressure of other people's judgment on her image of him.
She found the right starting point to start working on herself just when she started attending the first Yoga classes.
