I turmeric crackers without yeast I'm a prescription (vegan) to prepare delicious tasty and crunchy snacks, also perfect to be served as appetizer to accompany vegetable sauces and preserves in oil.

Suitable for those with food intolerances to yeasts, these turmeric crackers can also be flavored with other spices or herbs, such as, for example, sage and rosemary.

How to prepare i turmeric crackers without yeast: method


  • Unire in a bowl with flour and turmeric, or possibly the aromatic herbs washed and finely chopped,
  • deposit then water and start kneading,
  • after having absorbed all the water, place about twenty grams of additional flour on a pastry board and knead the mixture vigorously until it is no longer sticky,
  • passare then the pieces of dough in the dough roller obtaining sheets a couple of millimeters thick,
  • place the sheets on a lightly floured surface and trim the edges,
  • cut the sheets into rectangles and prick them with the prongs of a fork,
  • put them in a pan lined with parchment paper and salt them on the surface,
  • bake and bake in a hot oven at 200 ° for about fifteen / twenty minutes or in any case until the turmeric crackers without yeast are golden brown.
  • Cooking when finished, take the crackers out of the oven and leave to cool before serving.


Yeast-free turmeric crackers will remain fragrant for a few hours, so they are not suitable for freezing or to be stored for several days.
