Ginger disinfectant herbal tea: how to make bancha tea

Bancha tea is a type of tea used in macrobiotic cuisine, it is a tea rich in iron, calcium and vitamin A and is almost completely free of caffeine, therefore it is a very valuable ally for our health.

The ideal for a good invigorating herbal tea relieves ailments is to use two teaspoons of tea, 2 cloves, a small piece of cinnamon and a grater of dried ginger or a small piece of fresh ginger directly into the cup with the boiling water.

Ginger is found both fresh and dry, in the first case all you have to do is cut a small piece of it by adding it to the cup, in the second case it is enough to simply grate it at the end of theinfusion which must last between 3 and 5 minutes with the cup covered.

Obviously, do not exceed these doses as all three of these spices have a very strong character.

This herbal tea taken 3 times a day helps to keep sore throats and colds away and for the first symptoms also to fight them!

But why is ginger so rich in properties? Because it is very rich in essential oils, resins and mucilage and is a natural anti-inflammatory and antipyritetic, but not only because ginger also stimulates digestion (and here you understand why it is often used in greasy or elaborate dishes!) and blood circulation; but still it is a powerful one antioxidant and a very strong anti-nausea. In traditional Chinese medicine - widely used by macrobiotic philosophy - it is also used for treatments that use ginger-based compresses (gauze soaked in ginger decoctions or fresh ginger juice) which help to reduce pain related to joints and bones. It is not never to use if you suffer from gallstones as it stimulates the gallbladder.
