    Withdrawn Greek yogurt, risk for the intolerant: brand and batches

    The ministerial authorities have published two new safety notices for chemical risks, which concern the same number of Despar brand yoghurts

    Two types of yogurt have been withdrawn by the Ministry of Health. In fact, although they are lactose-free, they actually contain it and could put those who are intolerant at risk.





    The ministerial authorities have published two new safety notices concerning the same number of yoghurts of the Despar brand.

    These are fat-free, lactose-free Greek yogurt and strawberry chunks, always lactose-free.

    According to the Ministry note, they are produced by Dairy Industry of Drama SA "Neogal", in Greece.

    Here are the lots withdrawn:

    • Greek yogurt with lactose-free strawberry pieces Despar Free From, in the 150 gr format with expiry date 26/07/2020 and batch number 26/07/2020
    • Despar Free From Fat Free Greek Yogurt, in the 150 gr format with expiry date 26/07/2020 and batch number 26/07/2020.

    The Ministry recommends those who are lactose intolerant not to consume them.
