What they dream the children? What a wonderful world lies behind their innocent fantasy? This is the question they will have asked themselves at least once all moms. The also did it photographer Queenie Lao, who tried to imagine her little one 'wonderland'.

This is how his photo collection was born Wengenn in Wonderland, in which Queenie has created the fantastic landscapes live, involving her unsuspecting son, intent on sleeping.

How? Using what she managed to find at home, fabrics, sweaters, woolen threads, but also pans, toys, teddy bears, scarves, bags, scarves and handkerchiefs.

Queenie Liao, a freelance artist and mother of three, lives in California. Like all mothers she has tried to understand and share the adventurous dramas that her baby, Wengenn, goes through in his sleep.

Combining art and fantasy with photography, Queenie has created this captivating photo album, which has now become a book: Wengenn in Wonderland, a collection of over 100 creative photographs depicting his son Wengenn's continued exploration in the magical land of dreams.

The creations and consequently the photo were made taking advantage of the moments when little Wengenn slept.

“Photography has always been my hobby. At first my interest was the natural scenery, but after the birth of my first child in 2002 my attention shifted to my precious baby. I began to photograph him, often drawing inspiration from the splendid works of Anne Geddes".

So, in 2010 Queenie began experimenting with similar ideas about her newest, if, who was then three months old. "After Wengenn fell asleep, I would put him in the center of the theme I had created and start taking pictures," said the artist. Here are some pictures:

It may not have entered the mind of her child, but it has certainly made him the unsuspecting protagonist of her beautiful shots.
