Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

Alce Nero has recently launched a new spreadable product on the market, a cocoa cream made with very few ingredients, all organic. Let's discover the nutritional values and the flavor of this cocoa and legume-based cream that we have tasted for you.

There are a lot of cocoa spreads on the market but Alce Nero's is a bit special since it is made up of only 4 ingredients including beans! It is therefore a cocoa and legume cream with a flavor and consistency different from the others on the market (we would define it as "pudding").

This is obviously due to the creaminess that the Kidney red beans with which it is made give it.

But let's find out now the ingredients and nutritional values of this new product.

Ingredients and nutritional values

These are the ingredients with which it is made:

  • Acqua
  • Kidney red beans (23%)
  • sugar cane
  • cocoa (5%)

As you can see by reading the nutritional values, it is a spreadable cream low in fat.

After opening, it must be kept in the refrigerator e consume it within 7 days. Therefore, given the simplicity of its composition, it does not have a long storage time like that of other spreadable creams.

But what does it taste like?

First, get it out of your mind that there is any similarity to Nutella. The flavor of this spreadable cream has a slight aftertaste of legumes and cocoa and a decidedly lower sweetness than that of most products on the market.

A point in favor for those who do not want to overdo the sugars and love less sweet flavors, while for others it may be difficult to appreciate.

Considering all this, it can be used spread on rusks or biscuits but also on bread. Also try to prepare dorayaki (using it instead of azuki bean jam). Read also: Dorayaki: the Japanese recipe inspired by Miyazaki's masterpiece "Kiki - Home delivery"
