We are in the midst of the International Week of Washable Diapers and on the web, as well as discounts and promotional initiatives, depopulated a campaign of mothers who use them with satisfaction. It is a kind of white protest towards the Pampers #gestidamore initiative.

While the well-known brand of disposable diapers asked mothers to send videos and photos of their children telling their daily gestures of love, it was a mother who instead chose washable flood the Pampers site with highly original messages which instead sponsor the use of washable nappies.

The idea came to Ica Arkel, mother, journalist and lover of washable nappies to the point of having founded a shop that tells:

“While I was surfing the internet, an advertisement for a well-known brand of traditional diapers appeared, inviting new mothers to shoot a video or send a photo in which to tell their gesture of love. Evidently, the brainchild of the most popular search engine in the world did not understand that I deal only with washable diapers and, thus, finding myself in front of an advertisement for an object that remains as a negative legacy to our children, I had the idea of a white protest : use the same hashtag, on which no one has the copyright, to talk about our gesture of love, That of love our children's skin and to want to preserve the world where they will live ”.

Ica decided to spread the idea to some groups of mothers who use washable, in particular the Facebook group P&S (washable nappies and supports) and since then Pampers was flooded with original and uncomfortable messages from mothers convinced of their green choice.
