1) for interior cleaning remember to always remove the mats and objects placed in the drawers or next to the doors. This way you can better vacuum the dust if necessary. Try to use an energy-saving vacuum cleaner with “eco” options. You can aspire or brush the mats before putting them back in the car, after finishing the interior cleaning. To eliminate bad smells from the mats, expose them to the air for a long time and if necessary sprinkle them with bicarbonate and leave to act for a long time, even for a couple of hours, before brushing or vacuuming them.

2) To delete the bad smells from the passenger compartment or the trunk, you can place inside the car, while it is in the garage, small containers with baking soda or ground coffee (let the coffee grounds remain in the coffee maker to dry). If you are looking for a car air freshener, try to prepare a small bag with lavender flowers or tea leaves, to be enriched with a few drops of natural essential oil.

3) for dashboard cleaning, you can simply use a microfibre cloth moistened with warm water and well wrung out. Keep a clean cotton towel handy to dry the various parts immediately after cleaning, so that no pass marks remain. In case of stubborn dirt, pour a drop of ecological dish soap. If some points are difficult to reach, help yourself with a to remove dust and dirt old toothbrush.

4) The method of microfiber cloth described above also applies to the window cleaning both inside and outside. You can also prepare one DIY window cleaner spray that you can also use at home to clean mirrors and windows on doors and windows. Simply pour a tablespoon of dish soap or liquid soap in half a liter of water, mix well and transfer everything into a spray bottle.

Add 50 teaspoon of dish soap and a few drops of warm water to 1 grams of baking soda. Mix until you get a creamy mixture that is easy to apply on the sponge.

8) If the machine is very dirty, try to dissolve a few tablespoons of ecological laundry detergent in powder form. However, try not to overdo the quantities of the product and help yourself in cleaning with cloths, sponges and soft brushes. Always choose products and detergents that are as delicate as possible, so as not to damage the bodywork

9) When the time comes for rinse the car, try to save water as much as possible. The main advice is to scrub and soap all the external parts well, so that you can dedicate yourself to a single final rinse that allows you to limit the water needed to complete the cleaning of the car. Try using no more than one or two buckets of water to rinse the entire vehicle.

10) After rinsing the bodywork, take care of immediately dry the car. Avoid using paper towels or disposable wipes. Turn to microfiber or cotton cloths once again. You can also easily recover gods old kitchen towels or sheets that are worn out and unused. If you finally decide to pass the wax on the car, choose a product that is as ecological as possible, place yourself in the shade, use a soft cloth and carefully follow all the instructions on the package.
