    The Garden of Ninfa was also declared a Natural Monument by the Lazio Region in 2000 in order to protect the internationally renowned historical garden and inside it has Mediterranean flora and magnificent rose gardens, but also American walnuts, Japanese maples and yucca. And not only that: thanks to its unique climate, around 1300 species of plants from all over the world have grown here between the river Ninfa and various irrigation streams.
