We had already told you about the school bus that was transformed into a traveling home and about the sixteen year old who managed to build his own little house on wheels in search of his own freedom and in order to leave his parents' home as soon as possible; now we present Vintage Airstream Trailers, the vintage looking American caravans that have been renovated in order to turn into comfortable and bright homes.
The caravan project was born thanks to the architect Matthew Hofman, who has undertaken to renovate the interiors of the same, usually quite dark and characterized by dark colors, in order to obtain renewed and bright rooms that can give space to homes, offices, studios or dressing rooms. The architect started his own project in 2011, transforming a caravan in your own home and personal office.
The first transformation was so satisfying that it could initiate a business, which took the name of HofArc. Inside the renovated caravans they find space wooden floors e modern furniture, beds, desks and everything you need to live comfortably, albeit in a small space, which is apparently made more spacious by the choice of light and bright colors for both the furniture and the walls.
Space comes exploited efficiently and intelligent, so much so that inside the caravans there are areas in which to place modern kitchens, living rooms with sofa, bathrooms with shower, as well as workstations. An Australian couple with children have already chosen one of Hofmann's recently restored caravans as their home. Would you do the same if given the opportunity?
