But let's start from the beginning.

In fact, it all started the day I saw the beautiful garden table by Orti Urbani, but at the time, thanks to the limited space, the idea of being able to have one had not occurred to me in the slightest.

After some time, however, I found myself, due to the move of a friend, with a handsome one plastic garden table all for me ... how then can you not give a worthy life to this magnificent object if you do not experience an idea that flashed in your head years before?

    The game was simple.

Once you have taken the measurements and cut the small ones wooden boards, now forgotten in theDIY corner of my garage, it was easy to proceed with the screwdriver and screws, fixing the six boards along the entire perimeter of the top.

So the second step was that of divide the space into three compartments this to make the cultivation of the different plants easier.

It was therefore the turn of the interior lining: Again using recycling as a winning weapon, old bags of soil facing the inside upwards were the best choice.

Once everything is fixed with small strips of plastic so that the pegs were pretty good and a few pins the game was done.

Last step: fill in the three small drawers with soil mixed with compost mature self-produced.

The time spent on? Less than an hour.

Tools needed? A few screws, small wooden planks, nails, a plastic table, old sacks of dirt (but black garbage bags are also fine) and strips of plastic.

Reason not to do it? Nobody!

Of course, as soon as the weather stabilizes I will proceed to external painting to make it more graceful.

What would you plant? I decided to sow marigold, cut salad, wild rocket, basil and parsley.
