200 gr of organic spelled flour
100 g of raw cane sugar Faritrade
1 glass of cold pressed seed oil
100 gr of Fairtrade bitter cocoa
3 pears
300 ml of organic vegetable milk
1 sachet of organic baking powder

Vegan pear, cocoa and cinnamon cake: preparation

Peel the pears, removing the seeds, e cut them into slices. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, yeast, cocoa and sugar. Slowly add the vegetable milk (soy or rice, preferably) and the oil. Beat energetically with a whisk, being careful to avoid creating lumps.

The dough must be quite liquid. If it is still too thick, add more milk. Conversely, if it is too thin, add more flour. Now divide the dough into two parts: pour the first half into a buttered (with margarine) and floured cake pan with a diameter of about 22cm, then cover with the slices of pear and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover everything with the rest of the dough.
